I don’t have many regrets, but this reunion reminds me that I wish I had spent less time on homework and more on getting to know some of the bright, interesting, kind people in the Linton 68 class. I remember Richard Lockwood from English and social studies classes, and would have liked to know him better: R.I.P.

We were opposite: Connie Enright was a short, curvy blond bundle of energy, while I was tall, thin, brunette (I’m shorter, heavier and greyer now). We had no common classes, but she was friends with one of my childhood neighbors. Whenever she saw me she would surprise me out of my study fog with a smile and cheerful “Hi Mary Ellen”. Like many of us at this reunion, I went on to marry, have beloved children, grandchildren, friends and family. I held position with ILoveNY that I loved and another doing audits that I didn’t. I toured Paris, rode a mechanical bull, dipped in Lake George’s Polar Plunge. Connie Enright apparently never had a chance. She was last seen in 1969 at Lums in Rotterdam, her empty car found the next day near Friendlys in Schenectady. Foul play was suspected. She was only 18.

Hello to all ! After high school I attended the University of Bridgeport. I graduated from the dental hygiene school there. I also met my husband there. He was in the Navy so we moved a few times. We ended up in New Haven where he graduated from the physician assistant program at Yale.
When he graduated we moved here to New Milford Ct. We’re about 2 1/2 hours from Schenectady. We had 3 sons, all hockey players. Bob was very involved and was the high school coach for 20 years. My son Ben is the only one married (twice). I have 6 grands. 2 girls and 4 boy ranging in age from 19 to 3. 3 live in Colorado and I don’t get to see them often ( nasty divorce). The other 3 live here in New Milford. I’ve been retired from dental hygiene about 5 years. Bob is still working but beginning to cut back. Love being outside hiking in the White Mountains, snowshoeing or kayaking.Really looking forward to reunion and seeing everyone.
